Ali Sarvi has always had an eye for beauty. Back home, he built a highly successful career as an agricultural engineer, responsible for establishing some of the top dairy farms in the region. But when life brought him to Canada, it awakened something deeper — a passion that had always been inside him: the love of art, design, and craftsmanship. In 2004, Ali founded Diamond View, a company dedicated to creating extraordinary interior spaces through expert millwork.
The name Sarvi, in Persian, means “of the cypress tree” — a symbol of grace, strength, and resilience. In many ways, it feels destined that Ali would find his true calling working with wood. Cypress trees, like the materials Diamond View shapes every day, stand tall and endure through time. They symbolize beauty that lasts, echoing the very essence of what Diamond View creates: pieces that are not just visually stunning but built to stand strong, to carry meaning, and to become part of people’s lives for generations.
For a long time, Diamond View didn’t have business cards. There was no website, no advertisements. People didn’t necessarily know the name — but they knew the work. They knew the kitchens, the closets, the crafted spaces that spoke for themselves. Diamond View expanded and thrived solely through recommendations and word of mouth, built on the strength of the work itself and the relationships formed along the way. Because at its core, Diamond View has always believed that true craftsmanship speaks louder than marketing.
